When you reach the required age and decide to learn to drive there's always plenty to organise. Firstly, you will need to apply for your provisional drivers licence. This will involve filling in a form, attaching a photograph of yourself and enclosing payment of the required amount. You will also need to decide who will be teaching you to drive. If you will be learning with family or friends in a private vehicle you will need to make sure the person who is teaching you has the necessary experience. You will also need to arrange insurance on the car you will be learning in and get yourself some L plates. If you choose to learn with a qualified instructor you will need to find one you feel would be suitable and book up your first lesson. |
